Description: Come in with your portfolio to discuss it and the materials from the course for 20 minutes with your instructor. Prepare to answer the following questions with not only theory from particular theorists, but also by providing examples of your work:
1) What does rhetoric have to do with design?
2) How does medium influence your message?
3) What are the five principles of design? Which ones do you illustrate in your work and why?
4) What are design elements you use heavily in your work and why?
5) What have you learned about learning programs?
Goal: To illustrate what theory and praxis you’ve learned from the course.
Purpose: The purpose of this exam is to understand what you have learned and applied over the course of the semester.
Audience and Context: Your instructor and her office.
Due date: Sign up for a 20 minute slot that works for your schedule during Thursday or Friday of finals week. Do not be late or absent-either will result in a zero.
