I like e-cards as well, and I would consider that as a project. Someday I hope to create a website that has some flash content. I am still not sure how I hope to use flash in a project for this class, but I found a pretty sweet sample of a flash design for a website:
This Web site does a very good job of not smacking the user in the face when the Flash-based interactive site things are accessible. So often, Flash is wielded clumsily and it results in objects or whole sites which are slow, loud, noisy, broken (links that don’t follow where they’re supposed to, etc.) or generally difficult to use. This site is rather intuitive and easy to navigate.

I think the use of Flash in sports websites is always cool. How they update the sites and add elements from games just a few minutes old is always interesting and fun to watch.
To go waaaaaaay back, to the year of 2002, I came across the Flash site for a Disney animated film, which made extensive use of Flash animation to organize multiple forms of content in an interesting design.

I think animated ecards are fun and a good way to let someone know that you are thinking of them.

I’m not sure if Daniel O. Sorenson created these images in Flash, but they are pretty cool.

HunterStory, a game made by one of my friends who I used to play MapleStory with.
It captures the essence of MapleStory’s combat, with a bit more interaction and fun.

I’m not sure if the Huskies scoreboard on the Athletics website is updated using Flash or not, but it’s useful.
